Job Title: Cabinet Installation Technician
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Cabinet Installation Technician to join our team. The role includes installing kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, closet systems, and standard storage units in residential and commercial job sites. Candidates should have basic carpentry knowledge, experience with cabinet installation, and the ability to deliver clean, solid, and accurate work.
Key Responsibilities
- Install kitchen cabinets, vanities, closets, and storage systems safely and correctly
- Follow installation instructions, simple drawings, and layout measurements
- Ensure cabinets are level, plumb, and securely fastened
- Make small adjustments, trims, and minor onsite fixes when needed
- Maintain clean and protected work areas during and after installation
- Load, unload, and transport cabinets and tools to job locations
- Communicate with supervisors, homeowners, and team members when needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of cabinet installation or carpentry experience preferred
- Ability to measure accurately and use installation tools
- Basic understanding of framing, studs, anchors, and wall types
- Able to lift and carry cabinets and materials safely
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently or with a small team
Required Tools (Must Have Your Own Tools)
Applicants must own basic installation tools, including:
- Drill/driver set
- Laser level
- Standard level
- Stud finder
- Measuring tape
- Circular saw or miter saw (preferred)
- Hand tools (hammer, chisels, screwdrivers, pry bar, etc.)
- Basic hardware/fasteners for typical installations(Having your own vehicle to transport tools and materials is strongly preferred.)
