About the Role:
The Panela Processing Associate LV2 plays a critical role in the production and quality assurance of panela, a traditional unrefined whole cane sugar product. This position is responsible for overseeing the processing stages to ensure that the final product meets established quality standards and safety regulations. The associate will work closely with production teams to monitor equipment, manage raw materials, and maintain efficient workflow throughout the processing cycle. Attention to detail and adherence to health and safety protocols are essential to guarantee product consistency and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this role contributes to the successful delivery of high-quality panela products to the market while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production facility.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food processing or manufacturing environments.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to operate processing equipment and follow standard operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience specifically in sugar or panela production.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and documentation.
- Certification in food safety (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent).
- Mechanical aptitude for minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
