Sr. Technical Subject Matter Expert

The NAVAIR Digital Department leads the digital transformation of NAVAIR and works to accelerate and scale digital/analytic technologies and capabilities across the NAVAIR Enterprise as a means to increase speed in the delivery and sustainment of warfighting capability. The Digital Group delivers and executes command-wide strategies that align activities and provides the workforce with agile self-service infrastructure, data accessibility, visualization and analytic tools, and digital/IT services to rapidly research, create, deploy, integrate, and maintain, applications, enterprise solutions, and other digital capabilities. NAVAIR's digital transformation will require leveraging advanced digital tools to implement fundamentally different business models across all business, technology development, workforce, and mission operation domains. The selected candidate will:

• Provides high-level subject matter expertise, analysis, strategic advice, and technical guidance to support project execution, business and technical operations, strategic initiatives, workforce development, business improvement, or as required to support exceptionally complex technical and organizational tasks.
• Provides advanced technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that require expert level knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
• Qualifications and/or particular expertise are exceptional and/or highly unique and may include various digital innovation or disruptive technology areas (e.g. block chain, quantum computing, internet of things, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics process automation, etc.).

Bachelor's degree is required in related field, a Master degree is preferred

Ten (10) years of related experience is required

Candidate is required to pass a background Investigation

Security certification is required.

Security Clearance Requirements: An active DoD security clearance is required or higher.
