Senior Systems Analyst (NSWCDD)

Sabre Systems is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our team in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) in Dahlgren, VA. This role plays a critical part in NSWCDD's strategic initiative to modernize, optimize, and simplify its IT infrastructure while advancing IT Service Management (ITSM) practices to deliver measurable, mission-focused outcomes. This initiative not only includes the continued operation and maintenance of the existing IT environment but also emphasizes digital transformation, information management, infrastructure engineering, and the implementation of modern development, deployment, and automation technologies. The selected candidate will be essential to enhancing IT service delivery and ensuring efficient, customer-focused support in a dynamic and evolving environment. *This position is contingent upon contract award and/or customer approval.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyze and translate technical requirements into system specifications and documentation, ensuring alignment with DoD standards and mission needs.
• Develop and maintain DoDAF-compliant architecture models using enterprise tools to support system design, integration, and lifecycle planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including developers, engineers, and stakeholders-to define and refine system capabilities, interfaces, and data flows.
• Perform application and system testing, validate functionality, and support troubleshooting efforts to ensure quality and compliance with security and performance requirements.
• Support data management tasks, including database design, query optimization, and ongoing data integrity checks, to ensure reliable system performance and reporting

Qualifications:

• Must have minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in relation to implementation of business and technical requirements; analyzing; planning and development; application testing; and database management support.
• Qualified experience in Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and enterprise architecture tools such as IBM's System Architect.
• Must be available to work onsite in Dahlgren, VA daily

Clearance & Certification Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance or higher; role is classified as IT Level 1 and requires a Tier 3 (T3) or Tier 3 Reinvestigation (T3R) background investigation.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAM Level III certification requirements; OR must qualify under the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework as a Vulnerability Assessment Analyst with Advanced-level proficiency.
