Scope Of Responsibility
The Manufacturing Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for leading and scaling asset protection programs across multiple facilities by reducing theft, minimizing inventory shrink, and ensuring the secure handling of all materials. This role builds on site-level execution by providing strategic direction, standardization, and oversight across Operations, HR, Finance, Inventory, and Safety functions to identify systemic vulnerabilities, implement enterprise controls, and ensure a secure, compliant, and efficient multi-site environment.

Scope Of Responsibility
The Manufacturing Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for leading and scaling asset protection programs across multiple facilities by reducing theft, minimizing inventory shrink, and ensuring the secure handling of all materials. This role builds on site-level execution by providing strategic direction, standardization, and oversight across Operations, HR, Finance, Inventory, and Safety functions to identify systemic vulnerabilities, implement enterprise controls, and ensure a secure, compliant, and efficient multi-site environment.
Essential Duties
Asset Protection & Theft Prevention
- Oversee and direct investigations into internal and external theft, unauthorized material removal, and suspicious activity across all facilities.
- Establish standardized investigation protocols, documentation practices, and case management processes.
- Review and analyze incident trends to identify systemic risks and drive enterprise-wide solutions.
- Provide guidance and escalation support to site leadership and Loss Prevention Specialists for complex or high-risk cases.
- Partner with HR and leadership to ensure consistent, fair, and compliant handling of investigations and corrective actions.
- Establish and standardize inventory control procedures across all sites, including cycle counts, audits, and variance resolution processes.
- Analyze shrink data and inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and trends across locations.
- Lead corrective action initiatives to address systemic process or control failures.
- Ensure consistent chain-of-custody procedures and material handling controls across all facilities.
- Partner with Operations and Finance to strengthen material tracking systems and controls.
- Develop and implement enterprise standards for CCTV, access control, alarms, and physical security infrastructure.
- Evaluate effectiveness of current site-level systems and drive upgrades, standardization, and scalability.
- Oversee vendor relationships for security services, ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and consistency.
- Lead capital planning and prioritization for security enhancements including surveillance, lighting, fencing, and controlled access.
- Ensure all facilities maintain appropriate and consistent security controls aligned to risk levels.
- Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of loss prevention policies and procedures across all sites.
- Design and deploy training programs for leaders and employees focused on theft prevention, fraud awareness, and material handling.
- Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with HR and Safety to align loss prevention efforts with broader compliance and workplace conduct programs.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, Inventory, HR, Safety, and Security to drive a proactive loss prevention culture.
- Develop and deliver executive-level reporting on shrink trends, investigations, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure program effectiveness across all facilities.
- Recommend and lead implementation of process improvements that reduce risk, drive consistency, and enhance operational integrity.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience
- 7–10 years in loss prevention, asset protection, or security roles.
- Demonstrated progression from investigative or site-level LP roles (e.g., LP Specialist) into leadership.
- Experience leading multi-site loss prevention operations or regional.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Advanced investigative and analytical skills
- Ability to translate site-level issues into enterprise solutions
- Effective cross-functional collaboration with Operations, HR, Finance, and Legal
- Strategic thinking with operational execution capability
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control tools, and investigative best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify vulnerabilities in workflows.
- Ability to conduct interviews professionally and maintain confidentiality.
- Basic understanding of inventory management processes; ERP/WMS experience a plus.
- Ability to work in manufacturing environments including production floors and yard/lot areas.
- Proven track record of building support and credibility with all levels of employees
