Project Manager – IT Solutions
Location: Remote
Salary: $80-90k

Sabot Consulting seeks a Project Manager that will lead and manage complex IT projects for the our end client. The Project Manager is responsible for project planning, execution, reporting, closing, and knowledge transfer, as well as maintenance and operations for each project. This PM will oversee solution implementations, direct project requirements, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:
 

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control, and close project activities to achieve project outcomes.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, risks, and issues.
• Build consensus and manage competing business priorities.
• Exercise discretion, tact, and judgment with stakeholders, technical staff, SMEs, and third-party vendors.
• Oversee requirements definition, design, build, test, documentation, training, and installation.
• Produce and deliver project documentation, including meeting notes, system requirements, technical design, and status reports.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings with staff, CDT, and other agencies.
• Ensure compliance with California Department of Technology (CDT) project management frameworks and methodologies.
• Manage project reporting, technical infrastructure documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Support M&O activities and enhancements for IT solutions.
• Mentor and coach staff on project management best practices and methodologies.

Must Have:
 

• Active Project Management Institute (PMI) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Minimum 5 years of broad and extensive experience managing complex IT systems and integration projects, with at least 3 years in a lead capacity.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing projects utilizing Agile methodology.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience evaluating and managing large-scale, multi-phase projects (including project schedules, status reports, and project plans) within the last 10 years.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing deployment and implementation of ServiceNow Platform.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience facilitating and coordinating Organizational Change Management.

Nice to Have:

• Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
• CCMP or Prosci certification
