CCWIS Training LeadLocation: RemoteSalary: $90-130kSabot Consulting seeks a Training Lead / Learning Experience Designer to build and run a role-based training program for Washington State DCYF’s multi-year CCWIS modernization. You’ll lead training needs assessment, design curricula and micro-learning, coordinate LMS tracking, and operationalize train-the-trainer and post-go-live reinforcement—aligned with business process transformation, readiness insights, and phased releases. Responsibilities: Lead the Training Needs Assessment in alignment with business process work; define modalities, role-based focus areas, and audience tailoring. Translate findings into role-based curricula (caseworkers, supervisors, support staff), aligned to workflows and system functionality. Participate in pilot sessions/workshops to validate materials; incorporate feedback into iterations. Use readiness assessments and impact analyses to target “readiness labs” (hands-on practice, sandbox walkthroughs) for high-impact roles and scenarios. Produce role-based job aids, reference guides, FAQs, and coaching guides; keep artifacts current across phases. Leverage the interactive change-impact heat map to prioritize just-in-time support and reinforce “what’s changing/what to do.” Build and deliver train-the-trainer programs for agency trainers, super-users, and change champions; provide facilitation guides and practice labs. Equip leaders and champions to reinforce adoption with localized practice and coaching. Capture lessons learned on training effectiveness each phase; feed improvements into future waves. Deliver knowledge transfer artifacts (job aids, coaching guides, reference guides) and ensure receiving teams are ready to own and update them. Manage to DED/DAD expectations (acceptance criteria, reviewers, schedules, walkthroughs) for all training deliverables.Must Have: 7 years enterprise training / learning experience design, with ADDIE and Agile learning practices; familiarity with government LMS environments. Demonstrated success building role-based learning paths for CCWIS (or SACWIS) caseworkers, supervisors, and support staff. Tools: Articulate 360 / Captivate, Microsoft 365, and major LMS platforms. Strong alignment skills across OCM, SI, and agency partners; experience working in multivendor environments. Excellent facilitation and communication skills across executive, supervisory, and front-line audiences. Nice to Have:Experience coordinating training during phased rollouts and dual-system transitions. Exposure to Lean/continuous improvement methods to translate process changes into learning. Familiarity with readiness KPIs and integrating survey/listening-session feedback into learning plans.
