Job Description:
Sabor a Cielo is looking for an experienced and dedicated Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of bakery production, including sweet and savory items, as well as traditional Mexican bread. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts (sweet, savory, and Mexican-style).
- Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure consistent quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area.
- Monitor ingredient levels and assist with inventory as needed.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all products meet Sabor a Cielo’s quality standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and follow supervisor instructions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a baker or in a commercial bakery setting.
- Knowledge of traditional Mexican bread (e.g., conchas, bolillos, pan dulce).
- Availability for flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
