What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Technician (Microbiology) position at Sabinsa Corporation?
The QC Technician (Microbiology) must have the following skills:
- Scientific degree (Microbiology) or equivalent of hands on experience with microbiology.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the similar solid dosage industries like Dietary/Food/Pharmaceutical.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to details.
The main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Perform routine microbiological testing (media preparation, sterility testing, etc.) and maintain records under document control.
- Perform environmental testing in the plant and maintain records under document control.
- Perform hand-monitoring of individual workers in the plant and maintain records under document control.
- Test sample tracking
- Retention sample management
- Report results and maintain records under document control
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment as required.
- Assist investigation of any process deviation.
- Notify immediately the Quality Manager of any out-of-specifications.
- Maintain accurate, up to date and concise laboratory notebooks and records.
- Support and back up to the QA Technician as needed
