**Responsibilities**
The Encapsulation Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining encapsulation equipment used in the production of nutraceutical products. This role ensures that all production activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory guidelines.
Equipment Operation & Process Execution: Set up, operate, and monitor encapsulation machines according to batch records and SOPs. Perform in-process check to ensure product quality, including capsule weight, integrity, and appearance. Assist with equipment changeovers between product runs, ensuring minimal downtime.
Cleaning & Maintenance**:** Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas in accordance with GMP and safety standards. Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment malfunctions or irregularities to the Team Lead or Maintenance Department.
Documentation & Compliance**:** Accurately complete production documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and cleaning records. Follow all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA) and internal SOPs.
Team Collaboration & Support: Work closely with the Encapsulation Team Lead and other operators to meet daily production goals. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely issue resolution. Assist in training new operators on equipment use and safety protocols.
Safety & Quality Assurance: Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE. Maintain a clean and organized work area.Participate in safety training and initiatives.

**Experience**
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Prior warehouse experience or working within a manufacturing environment that emphasizes safety and quality standards.
