Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Port Arthur, TX
Status: PRN
Pay: $48–$55/hour
At Sabine Heights, we’re looking for a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our therapy team and provide focused, individualized care to our residents.
In this role, you’ll evaluate and treat residents with swallowing, cognitive, and communication needs. Your clinical recommendations will directly support resident safety, function, and progress while working alongside nursing and the interdisciplinary team.

What you will be doing:
- Evaluate and treat residents for swallowing, cognitive, and communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
- Provide recommendations to support safe swallowing and overall function
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Collaborate with nursing and the interdisciplinary team
- Complete documentation accurately and timely
What we are looking for:
- Current Texas Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience with dysphagia and cognitive treatment preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with the care team
