Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar lending role within the banking or credit industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Obtain all documentation necessary for mortgage loans to conform to secondary market guidelines, NCUA guidelines, and credit union policy.
- Maintain knowledge of all compliance aspects of real estate loans, including escrow and other loan servicing functions.
- Prepare loans for submissions to Real Estate Loan Committee.
- Work closely with loan processor until completion of file
- Evaluate loan applications by analyzing creditworthiness, income, assets, and property value to determine loan eligibility.
- Guide clients through the loan process, explaining terms, conditions, and requirements to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Collaborate with real estate agents, appraisers, underwriters, and legal teams to facilitate timely loan approvals and closings.
- Maintain detailed records of loan applications, approvals, and communications in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain a network of clients and referral sources to generate new loan business and expand market presence.
- Monitor loan portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate losses.
- Stay current with industry trends, lending regulations, and market conditions to provide informed advice and maintain compliance.
