Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscape hardscapes, and horticulture activities to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Lead a team of landscapers, ensuring proper training, safety protocols, and adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee landscaping construction projects, including site preparation, planting, irrigation installation.
- Manage daily operations on job sites, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with management, clients, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Maintain equipment and tools through regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture with a strong background in lawn care and gardening.
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction settings.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, and general construction practices related to landscaping projects.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment and tools; ability to perform basic repairs or coordinate repairs as needed.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to outdoor work environments.
