Position Summary:
The primary duty of the Complex Care Specialist is to perform work directly related the functional area of insurance and compliance, particularly with respect to the oversight and management of managed care insurance and value-based programs implemented within the skilled nursing communities. The Specialist will navigate numerous systems, build relationships with many departments, and work directly with Communities and insurance plans. The Specialist will assist with monitoring, teaching, and training relative to Complex Care insurance products, providing regular onboarding and resident eligibility, as well as assisting with the evaluation, communication, and implementation of Complex Care insurance products, including its usage and/or potential growth within certain Communities.
Education/Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the long-term care or insurance field and an understanding of nursing home reimbursement, Medicare advantage plans, as well as ISNP is preferred.
Must have the ability to travel.

Full-Time Opportunity Available

Salary $70,000 - $90,000 annually
