Healthcare EVS Technician | Canton
Monday - Friday | 6:00 PM - 11:30 PM
$16 per hour
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Healthcare EVS Technician to support evening cleaning operations at a busy urgent care and medical office facility in the Canton area near the Ford Road and Canton Center corridor.
This position plays an important role in helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and medical staff. The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, and comfortable working in an active medical setting where attention to detail and consistent cleaning standards are essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine environmental services and custodial duties throughout healthcare and medical office areas
- Vacuum offices, hallways, waiting areas, treatment areas, and shared spaces
- Remove trash and replace liners throughout the facility
- Maintain cleanliness throughout entrances, workspaces, patient-facing areas, and common spaces
- Restock facility supplies as needed
- Follow cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety guidelines
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Interact professionally and respectfully with building occupants and guests
Requirements
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or EVS experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a healthcare, urgent care, or medical office environment
- Ability to wear and use a backpack vacuum during the shift
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
