Custodian
Monday - Friday | 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to support evening cleaning operations at a professional automotive technology and engineering facility in the Livonia area near the I-96 and Levan Road corridor.
This position is focused on vacuuming and maintaining a clean, organized, and professional workplace environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to work independently, and comfortable using a backpack vacuum throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine custodial duties throughout assigned areas of the facility
- Vacuum offices, hallways, conference rooms, and shared spaces using a backpack vacuum
- Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance throughout assigned spaces
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report facility concerns, supply needs, or equipment issues to management
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to wear and use a backpack vacuum during the shift
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a professional automotive technology environment
Pay: $16 - $17 per hour
