Custodian | Southfield

Monday - Friday | 5:30p - 8:30p

$15 per hour

We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Office Custodian to support evening cleaning operations at a professional office building in the Southfield area near the Northwestern Highway business corridor.

This is a solo cleaning position. The Custodian will work independently in the building and will be responsible for completing the full cleaning routine each evening. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working alone while maintaining consistent cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned evening cleaning duties independently
• Clean offices, common areas, workspaces, and shared areas
• Dust surfaces and maintain general appearance throughout the facility
• Vacuum offices, hallways, and shared spaces
• Clean restrooms and restock supplies
• Sweep, mop, and maintain flooring as needed
• Remove trash and replace liners throughout the facility
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Secure areas as directed and report any facility concerns

Requirements

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Comfortable working alone in a building during evening hours
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned duties without direct supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a professional office environment
