Custodial Operations Supervisor

Saber Building Services is growing, and we’re excited to welcome new leaders to our growing Operations Division across Southeast Michigan. We have a variety of opportunities available, including Building Supervisors, Area Supervisors, and Managers in Training, for people who enjoy leading others and want to play a hands-on role in helping their teams and buildings succeed. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

These are not desk-only management positions. Our operations leaders are working managers who lead from the floor—supporting employees, supervising day-to-day cleaning operations, solving problems, and stepping in alongside their teams when needed. These positions play an integral role in our business, helping us deliver consistent service to our customers while building strong, dependable teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support custodial employees while providing clear day-to-day direction and addressing performance or attendance concerns
• Oversee cleaning quality, conduct facility inspections, and respond professionally to client or building service needs
• Work alongside the custodial team and take an active role in cleaning operations when needed
• Support overall building operations, including staffing coverage, employee training, supplies, equipment, and multi-site needs as assigned

Requirements

• Previous commercial cleaning or custodial experience required
• Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, travel between assigned locations as needed, and remain actively involved in custodial operations
