Who We Need
We are seeking an organized and motivated Engagement on Projects Intern to support delivery teams working on digital engineering, IT, and operational projects. This internship is ideal for students interested in project coordination, program support, digital engineering environments, or technical operations who want exposure to how cross-functional teams deliver mission-focused solutions.
You’ll work alongside project managers, engineers, and technical teams, helping keep projects organized, documented, and moving forward.
What You’ll Do

- Support project teams with coordination, documentation, and task tracking.
- Assist with maintaining project schedules, action items, and status updates.
- Help prepare meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up items.
- Support configuration and organization of project documentation and deliverables.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across project teams.
- Gain exposure to digital engineering tools, delivery processes, and project lifecycles.
- Learn how secure, mission-driven projects are executed in a government contracting environment.

Work Location & Schedule
- This temporary Summer Internship is primarily remote and open to candidates located within the continental United States (CONUS), with an expected commitment of 20–40 hours per week, depending on role and department needs.
- Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future and should be able to support standard Eastern Time Zone business hours to ensure effective collaboration across teams.
- For candidates local to Beavercreek, OH, there may be an opportunity for a hybrid work environment with one (1) day per week onsite, where departmentally supported.
- The internship runs approximately May/June through August/September, depending on individual school schedules.
Your Qualifications
Required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. This role is not eligible for Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), or other student visa-based work authorizations
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, entering your junior or senior year, in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and work across teams
- Comfortable working with documentation, spreadsheets, and collaboration tools
Preferred (Not Required)
- Interest in project management, delivery operations, or digital engineering environments
- Exposure to Agile or project management concepts through coursework or group projects
- Familiarity with collaboration or project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar)
Compensation
This is a paid, temporary Summer Internship position compensated at $25 per hour. Internship participation does not guarantee future employment; however, high-performing interns may be considered for future opportunities based on business needs, performance, and available roles.
