overview:
we are seeking a reliable, flexible, motivated prep cook to join our kitchen team. This Role is ideal for someone who wants a flexible scheduling, steady hours, and hands- on experience with opportunities for growth and skill development.
Key Responsibilities:
- prepare ingredients( wash, chop, measure) and set up stations for service
- follow recipes and proportions control guidance
- maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and equipment
- assist cooks and chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed
- label and store food according to safety standards
- adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- prior kitchen experience or food-prep experience preferred but not required we value eager learning
- ability to follow directions and work in a fast pace environment
- reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts (weekends and holidays as needed)
- basic knife skills and food safety knowledge is a plus but not required
- ability to stand for extended periods of time
- ability to lift up to and above 50lbs
