The family-owned company established itself in 1911 in Umbria and now has offices all over the world, including Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, Canada, and the United States (New York City, Connecticut, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, and Las Vegas).
Sabatino Tartufi is looking for a US Consulting Corporate/Social Media Chef! The position will start as a consultant chef and could lead to a permanent employee position.
This job will be a few days a week, typically be M-F (sometimes weekends, depending on needs). Must commute to our test kitchen in CT 1-2X a week, along with other travel occasionally to our NYC showroom or across the nation.
Essentials job function:
- Works directly with Marketing in coordination of promotional calendars and attend occasionally trade shows.
- Develop Truffle menu for customers
- Develop new products along our R&D team
- Creates with our marketing team training packets for all sales team and customers base.
- Attends food showings, food show previews creating draft food costing and recipes for promotion of certain items.
- Supports and assists (as needed) at scheduled R&D Showings, at our NYC showroom or CT headquarters.
- With Marketing and sales team, will help manages the innovation, product development .
- Prepare delicious and visually stunning dishes that are Instagram-worthy
- Create captivating and engaging content for our social media platforms, including recipes, cooking tips and behind-the-scenes footage
- Collaborate with our marketing team to plan and execute social media campaigns
- Interact with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and build strong relationships with food enthusiasts
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Chef for several years with strong kitchen experience
- Must live in CT or nearby.
- Strong knowledge of food industry/food cost/profit margins/menu pricing
- Work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Enthusiastic
- Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and a passion for culinary creativity
- Proficiency in using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Excellent photography and videography skills to capture and showcase your culinary creations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
