Essential Functions:
Warehousing:
- Pull and inspect labels and packs all equipment and installation orders according to system-generated documents or other correspondence.
- Pulls, inspects, labels, packs, and stages all local adhesive and sealant orders according to system-generated documents or other correspondence.
- Unloads, inspects, and stores all inbound orders (small package, less than truckload, full truckload, and containers) against required documents. For accuracy and visible damage, repackage material as needed or requested.
- Receipts small equipment purchase orders into the ERP system and turns in packing slips to the account and operations personnel.
- Responsible for cleaning non-production areas of the warehouse, trash removal, sweeping/mopping, etc., assists in other areas as requested.
- Perform inventory cycle counts as requested by the Operations Manager.
- Inform the Operations Mgr. of waste levels, and work with waste disposal companies in the removal of waste product. Evaluates the requestion form against current stock levels (prevents overstock) and advises to order, or delay, and notifies if other equipment or supplies if required (prevents stock out).
Equipment:
- Builds required equipment in accordance with the production schedule.
- Executes spray gun rebuilds and repairs. Assist with pump rebuilds if required.
Quality:
Quality checks, all refurbished spray guns, and pumps for proper operation.
Production:
Required to cross-train to maintain a working knowledge of activator and adhesive production.
Safety:
- Daily inspection of fork/reach truck (Notify Operations Manager immediately of any issues)
- Daily visual inspection of finished goods racks/shelving (Notify Operations Manager immediately of any issues)
- Perform routine maintenance on the forklift/reach truck as outlined by the Operations Manager
Experience/Education:
- Education: HSD Required.
- Experience: 3 plus years of experience in warehouse inventory/distribution /work preferred.
- Computer Skills: Moderate Computer Literacy. Ability to operate procurement systems and inventory control systems.
- Other Requirements: Reach and Fork Truck preferred, Technical Reading Skills, and Distribution Systems experience preferred.
Work Schedule: Work schedule typically is M-F, 8 am – 5 pm, subject to change based on operational need, with appropriate notice.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Pay starts at $19/hr. and goes up based on experience.
