Sr. Test Analyst – performed manual and/or automated testing using industry standard testing tools, standards, and methodologies.
If you can work well with teams and are an excellent communicator with the ability to deal effectively with the functional and non-functional teams within IT Services as well as business users.
As a Senior Test Analyst will also coordinate UAT users and assist in the preparation of UAT test scripts. The ability to work within, and contribute to a team environment and build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, users and colleagues.
The ideal candidate should have 8 years of experience in the following:
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- ISEB / ISTQB qualification in Software Testing to practitioner level or equivalent qualifications or experience.
- Proficiency in implementing and executing testing strategies, plans, methodologies and frameworks in support of Agile development
- Experience of using test management/ Version Control tools (Azure DevOps/ TFS/ Git) and extensive experience writing test cases in Gherkin.
- Experience in writing Complex SQL queries for Creating and Maintenance of test data to support automation testing and Business users
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, XML,
- Knowledge of programming language e.g. Ruby, Java OR Python
- Experience working in Window and Linux environment
- Experience in reviewing metrics to identify areas for process optimization, Conduct dry run/smoke testing to ensure scripts readiness and Execute automation scripts
- Gather requirements from the Business Analyst to understand the project, analyze requirements, identify gaps in the requirements, skill sets required and provide LOE
- Provide Test Scenarios/ Cases walkthrough and seek customer sign off inclusive of Prioritization of Test cases, Optimization options
- A thorough understanding of risk-based testing
- Test the defect and update the status, conduct root cause analysis of the defects logged and assist developers in recreating bugs
- The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in both verbal and written communications
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with engineering teams and solving complex system problems together
