Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles is seeking a conceptually driven Art Director who believes in the power of creativity to move people and businesses forward. This role is for a visual storyteller who thrives on big ideas, craft excellence, and collaboration. You’ll partner closely with Copywriters, Designers, Strategists, and Producers to develop breakthrough creative across integrated campaigns.
We’re looking for someone who is curious, culturally attuned, and passionate about creating work that resonates emotionally and drives impact.
This role need to be local to the Los Angeles area. We are in office on a hybrid work week.

Compensation Range: $87,696.00 Annually - $$90,000.00 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. - Concept and execute innovative creative ideas across integrated campaigns including film, digital, social, print, OOH, and experiential
- Partner with Copywriters and Creative Directors to develop compelling campaign concepts and visual systems
- Translate strategic briefs into powerful visual storytelling that aligns with brand voice and objectives
- Create and present mood boards, storyboards, layouts, and visual directions to internal teams and clients
- Oversee and maintain visual quality and craft across all stages of production
- Collaborate with Designers, Producers, Editors, and external partners to ensure creative excellence
- Stay current on cultural trends, emerging technologies, and visual storytelling techniques
- Present creative work clearly and confidently, articulating rationale and intent
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and creatively ambitious team culture
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in an Art Director role, preferably at a creative or advertising agency
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptually driven, visually compelling campaign work across multiple channels
- Exceptional sense of design, typography, composition, and visual storytelling
- Experience developing integrated campaigns from concept through production
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- High level of craft and attention to detail
