Data Science Engineer

Role: Data Science Engineer – AWS & Agentic AI

Experience: 3–8 years

Location: New York, NY (Onsite)

Role Summary : We are looking for Data Engineers with strong hands-on experience in the AWS data ecosystem and experience in AI/ agentic AI / LLM technology. This role supports enterprise-scale data and AI initiatives in a regulated, high-performance financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, Agentic AI solutions in cloud-native data pipelines on AWS
• Develop batch and near–real-time data ingestion frameworks
• Work with both structured and unstructured data sources
• Implement data transformations, validation, and quality checks
• Collaborate closely with AI and platform teams on agent-based workflows
• Support PoCs, pilots, and production-grade deployments
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews

Required Skills

AWS & Data Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, EMR
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native data pipelines
• Solid understanding of ETL / ELT, data modeling, and data quality practices

Programming

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Good working knowledge of Data engineering

Agentic AI / LLM

• Good experience to LLM-based systems in data or AI workflows
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar orchestration frameworks
• Experience in building agent using platform orchestrations
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-based pipelines

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
• Exposure to AI inference pipelines, model lifecycle, and governance considerations
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, chaining techniques, and AI observability

Soft Skills

• Clear communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
