Finance & Commercial Manager | Remote (JHB, CT or Durban) | UK Facilities Management & Construction Client

SA Konexion is recruiting on behalf of a growing UK-based facilities management and construction business, delivering hard FM, soft FM, compliance, major works, cladding remediation, and project delivery across the UK.
This is a rare opportunity to build a finance function from the ground up - working directly alongside a lean, ambitious leadership team as the business scales.
We're not looking for someone who's already reached the peak of their career. We're looking for a rising star - someone who wants to grow with the business over the next 5–10 years.
🔑 What you'll be doing:
• Managing day-to-day financial operations - purchase ledger, sales ledger, supplier payments
• Producing monthly management accounts and cash flow forecasts
• Supporting UK VAT, Companies House filings, and HMRC compliance
• Reviewing project and contract profitability
• Building KPI dashboards and reporting systems
• Helping shape financial processes as the business grows
✅ What we're looking for:
• Newly qualified (SAICA / SAIPA / ACCA), early in your career
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and regulations
• Experience with UK VAT, payroll, Companies House filings, and HMRC compliance
• Excellent management accounting and commercial awareness
• Confidence implementing and improving financial processes
• Systems savvy - comfortable learning Simpro quickly if you haven't used it before (experience with Syspro, Sage, Xero, or SAP B1 is a great foundation)
📍 Location: Must be based in Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Durban, with a stable fibre connection, reliable backup power, and a dedicated professional workspace
🕒 Work model: Fully remote, working UK-aligned hours, with consistent availability for client and team meetings
