We are seeking a professional and personable Customer Service Representative / Office Administrator to join our team at our headquarters in Toano, VA. The ideal candidate will have customer service, order processing, and clerical experience. This role requires strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. The ability to produce and maintain accurate records is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Become an expert on the company’s products, service offerings, and order processing systems to best assist customers and sales representatives.
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner by phone, email, and chat.
- Process orders, update account information, and handle billing inquiries and product returns timely and accurately.
- Generate and maintain up-to-date records, files, and reports.
- Strive always for 100% customer satisfaction to foster client loyalty and drive growth through repeat sales and referrals.
- Be a team player who is reliable, positive, and always willing to help with other duties or tasks important to business operations.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role and supporting various administrative functions within a professional setting.
- Technical proficiency with order processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly use of Outlook, Excel and Teams (NetSuite® ERP experience desirable).
- Ability to self-manage, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
