Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IICS Data Engineer with strong expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development, cloud data integration, and data pipeline optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement data integration workflows using Informatica IICS (Data Integration, Mass Ingestion, Cloud Data Integration).
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data from multiple sources into cloud data platforms.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) to integrate data across systems.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement data transformation, cleansing, and validation logic to ensure data quality.
- Integrate data from various sources such as APIs, databases, flat files, and cloud storage.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and analysts to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and performance issues.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience in ETL/Data Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration)
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes
- Proficiency in SQL and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience working with APIs, REST/SOAP services
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and data quality
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD processes
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Informatica MDM, IDQ, or IICS Mass Ingestion
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse
- Experience with scripting languages (Python/Shell)
- Exposure to streaming technologies (Kafka, etc.)
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
