Position Overview:
S2Technologies is actively seeking qualified candidates to join our team. This internship position offers hands-on experience supporting a technical writing team in developing clear, userfriendly documentation. The role involves learning company-specific documentation standards, collaborating with developers to simplify complex technical concepts, and assisting in the creation and refinement of guides, manuals, and tutorials. The intern will also edit and proofread materials to ensure accuracy and consistency, as well as update documentation as needed. Ideal candidates are detailoriented, strong communicators, and eager to grow their technical writing skills. The qualified candidate shall perform the following tasks:
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the technical writing team to get a basic understanding of the documentation requirements and specifications
- Learn about technical documentation and concepts adopted by our company
- Brainstorm with the development team to figure out how to simplify technical information for end-users
- Edit and proofread all technical documents before submitting them to the editors or your supervisors
- Assist in creating high-quality documentation, guides, manuals, and tutorials
- Review and update documentation when required
Position Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English, Information Management, Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field
- Proficiency in written and verbal English
- Familiarity with technical concepts and the subject matter
- Knowledge of software languages, development models, and tools is a plus
