SkillBridge Internship - C2 Systems Engineer

Position Overview

S2Technologies is seeking highly motivated transitioning service members to participate in our SkillBridge Internship Program focused on Operations and C2 Systems Engineering.

This program provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting USSOCOM and Joint Force operations while also developing a strong foundation in corporate best practices required to succeed in a government services environment.

Interns will be trained across both:

• Operational mission support (C2 systems, mission planning, Tactical Data Links)
• Corporate delivery excellence (CMMI, ISO, and GovCon program execution)

Successful candidates will exit the program prepared to contribute as full-time professionals supporting global SOF and Joint missions.

What You'll Learn & Do

Operational Support & Systems Integration

• Support Government customer planning cycles and mission execution activities
• Assist in the implementation, training, and sustainment of key systems
• Contribute to development of Information Exchange Requirements (IERs)
• Participate in Joint, coalition, and partner nation coordination efforts
• Support identification and documentation of operational capability gaps
• Assist in training users and developing technical documentation

Joint Interoperability & Tactical Data Link Exposure

• Gain exposure to Multi-TDL Network (MTN) architecture and operations
• Support planning and coordination of interoperability efforts
• Learn how to evaluate and improve customer data exchange capabilities
• Participate in working groups and technical forums

Corporate Training & Professional Development

• Learn how a government services firm operates within DoD contracting environments
• Gain practical experience with:
  • CMMI 3.0 practices
  • ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Program execution aligned to PWS, QASP, and contract requirements
• Develop skills in technical writing, briefings, and stakeholder coordination

Required Qualifications

• Active-duty service member eligible for DoD SkillBridge participation
• Strong operational background in C2 systems, mission planning, or intelligence environments
• Familiarity with Joint operations or Combatant Commands
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain or maintain a TS/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Tactical Data Links or C2 systems
• Exposure to mission planning systems
• Experience supporting Joint or coalition operations
• Experience briefing senior leadership
