Position Title: M365 Senior Systems EngineerPosition Overview:S2Technologies is actively seeking a M365 Senior Systems Engineer to maintain and update the overall engineering and architecture for an existing Microsoft 365 Cloud Environment within the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This will include troubleshooting, performance tuning of existing and incorporation of new services in the future and maintain an optimal performing secure environment and platform. We provide support for integration, management, security, and optimization of key services including Power Platform, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, AvePoint Online Services, Exchange Online, Teams, and Microsoft Copilot. The support includes configuration management and troubleshooting of these MS365 platforms to provide optimal functionality and user experience. Support and maintain the overall performance of the environments.Responsibilities: Provide technical consulting expertise on the maintenance and administration of the IRS Enterprise M365 platformAssist with troubleshooting and technical support for M365 users and servicesDevelop and maintain technical/process documentation (FAQs, knowledge articles, reference materials)Contribute to multiple Proofs of Concept, pilot testing, and process improvement initiativesProvide bi-weekly and monthly updates/status reportsRequired Qualifications: Minimum 5 years' experience supporting Microsoft 365 (M365) Cloud Based Suite in a large corporate/government environmentExperience with technical documentation and troubleshooting in enterprise environmentsExperience with SharePoint Online Administration, Power Platform, OneDrive for BusinessExperience supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting user issues across M365 environmentTechnical Skills:Power Platform, SharePoint, Dataverse, PowerShell scriptingCapable of technical training, documentation, and user supportCommunication:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to develop and present technical reference materialsRequired Security Clearance: Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust clearance is required; however, it is not mandatory at the time of hire.Education: Minimum requirement: high school diploma.
