S W Rodgers, a trusted leader in providing site development, heavy highway, and utility installation services is seeking an experienced excavator operator for jobs in Northern Virginia. .
The ideal candidate:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience on Loader, Dozer or other heavy equipment used in site development
- Must have a strong work ethic, be highly motivated and dependable
- Must be able to operate equipment in safe, expeditious manner and in accordance with OSHA safe practices
- Must have basic knowledge of equipment mechanics and maintenance
- Ensure equipment is cared for and maintained for efficient and safe daily operations
- Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug testing is required
- Trenching and confined space training is a plus
