S&W Foods is a family-owned and operated foodservice distributor based in Southeast Louisiana. Our comprehensive product offerings include fresh and frozen meats, seafood, produce, dairy, condiments, canned goods, as well as cleaning supplies, paper products, plasticware, and kitchen equipment. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to customers across Southeast Louisiana. This full-time, on-site role is based in Hammond, LA, and involves operating delivery vehicles, loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling of perishable items, and providing excellent customer service. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining delivery records and ensuring compliance with all safety and transportation regulations.
- Strong Customer Service skills to ensure positive and professional interactions with clients
- Forklift Operation experience and the ability to handle loading and unloading tasks efficiently
- Background in Food & Beverage or related industries is highly desirable
- Capability in Training and Sales related to delivery practices and customer engagement is a plus
- Possess a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record
- Familiarity with route planning and logistics
- Basic knowledge of safety and compliance regulations regarding food transportation
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and efficiently
