This hybrid role will consist of mainly general warehouse work in our facility with 1 day a week visiting local customers to do on-site bin stock put away's and take orders. *General fastener knowledge is required*THIS IS NOT A DELIVERY TRUCK JOB Position SummaryResponsible for incoming product for customer-specific VMI program and dispensing product tocustomer’s manufacturing sites. Responsible for unloading, staging, picking, pulling, packing,shipping inventory for customer orders, branch transfers, etc.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:VMI Duties Responsible for all incoming product for VMI program Dispense product to VMI cell manufacturing sites Work with Purchasing on stocking quantities Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner at all times Use of Company van to fulfill dutiesWarehouse Duties Process outbound and inbound inventory Accurately pick and pull inventory for customer orders Stage inventory Pack inventory including shrink-wrapping, boxing, labeling Prepare truck shipments Load and unload truck shipments Operate Work Assist Vehicles (WAVs) Identify and segregate non-conforming items Process returned goods from customers Prepare will call orders Cycle count inventory Use weigh stations to accurately count parts for order fulfillment Communicate with other departments, particularly Inside Sales Clean and maintain work area Performs other work-related duties as assigned
