S&T Bank Summer Internship Program: May 20, 2026 -August 7, 2026

S&T Bank's Summer Internship Program is a compensated professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical, real-life experience.

Summer internship participants will:

• Explore careers in the Banking industry,

• Participate in volunteer opportunities,

• Join Q&A sessions with Bank leaders and executives,

• Connect through team building activities and much more!

Hours may be determined based on the needs of the department but will not exceed 29 hours per week.

Internship Program Starting Rate: $13.00/hour

Location:

800 Philadelphia Street Indiana PA 15701

Hours:

8:00am-5:00PM Monday- Friday Additional hours as necessary to meet the objectives of the department

Function: Works under the direction of department management, in a capacity of departmental backup and support, performing assigned duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports HRIS updates

  • Reviews current and previous update documentation and reviews potential changes with management.

  • Assists with review of tickets in the ticketing system and assists to respond in a timely matter.

  • Makes suggestions to improve processes and leverage the return on system capabilities.

• Develops functional and technical experience in support of disciplines across Human Resources.

• Assists with audit and quality control processes for maintaining data integrity.

  • Reviews system generated notifications for accuracy and opportunity for enhancement.

• Assists with special projects (example: Safety incident tracking set up)

• Maintain a good working relationship with all bank employees. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn the organization.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Education:

In pursuit of a four-year degree in business, human resources, information technology or related field.

Experience:

Up to one-year general experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20" for computer work. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Occasional travel may be required.
