STARS Security Services is looking for dependable, professional, and motivated individuals to join our team as Mobile Security Officers. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in serving the community, enjoys working independently, and wants to develop real-world experience in security, public safety, and professional field operations.
As a Mobile Security Officer, you will patrol assigned properties and areas in a clearly marked STARS patrol vehicle, provide a visible security presence, identify and report suspicious activity, respond to calls for service, conduct property checks, and communicate professionally with clients, employees, and members of the public.
Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled mobile patrols of assigned properties and areas.
- Perform security checks and document conditions observed during patrols.
- Respond to alarms, calls for service, suspicious activity, and other security-related incidents.
- Maintain a highly visible and professional security presence.
- Identify potential safety, security, maintenance, and unauthorized-access issues.
- Prepare accurate and detailed daily activity and incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with clients, law enforcement, emergency personnel, and the public.
- Follow company policies, post orders, and applicable Nevada laws and regulations.
- Safely operate a company patrol vehicle while performing assigned duties.
- Monitor and report suspicious persons, vehicles, activity, or property conditions.
- Assist clients and members of the public when appropriate and within the scope of the position.
- Maintain professional appearance, conduct, and communication at all times.
- Use company technology, communication systems, and reporting platforms as required.
- Work independently while maintaining communication with supervisors and dispatch.
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to pass required background screening.
- Ability to successfully complete company training.
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, customer service, or public-safety experience is preferred but not required.
