JOB DESCRIPTION
Department: Contact Center
Reports To: Contact Center Supervisor
Position Summary:
Detail-oriented and customer-focused Contact Center Associate who will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders and quotes within the S&S Worldwide ERP system while delivering excellent customer service. All work is to be conducted in person, at 75 Mill Street, Colchester, CT 06415. NO remote work
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and promptly process customer orders and quotes in the ERP system
- Maintain a high volume of work with minimal errors
- Provide exceptional customer service and support via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and issues
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of company products and services
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
- Uphold consistent attendance and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Previous contact center or customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer use, including data entry, email, and basic office applications
- Ability to work at a computer workstation in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Detail-oriented with sound judgment and organizational skills
- Ability to compose professional business emails
- Capable of learning and retaining multiple processes and procedures
- Team-oriented with a positive and cooperative attitude
