JOB DESCRIPTION

Department: Contact Center

Reports To: Contact Center Supervisor

Position Summary:

Detail-oriented and customer-focused Contact Center Associate who will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders and quotes within the S&S Worldwide ERP system while delivering excellent customer service. All work is to be conducted in person, at 75 Mill Street, Colchester, CT 06415. NO remote work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and promptly process customer orders and quotes in the ERP system
  • Maintain a high volume of work with minimal errors
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and issues
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of company products and services
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments
  • Uphold consistent attendance and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Previous contact center or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in computer use, including data entry, email, and basic office applications
  • Ability to work at a computer workstation in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Detail-oriented with sound judgment and organizational skills
  • Ability to compose professional business emails
  • Capable of learning and retaining multiple processes and procedures
  • Team-oriented with a positive and cooperative attitude
