Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit bending, and component assembly
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution
- Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Conduct routine inspections using tools like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure system integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while upholding quality standards
Skills
- Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
- Experience with NEC guidelines and electrical codes is a plus
- Proficiency in using testing instruments such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting
- Knowledge of frame carpentry or related construction skills is beneficial but not required
