Job Summary
As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and established work instructions. You will own your work area from assembly through inspection and functional testing while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools
- Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and written work instructions
- Build products according to specified dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards
- Perform functional testing on completed assemblies
- Inspect parts and finished assemblies for defects and workmanship
- Use measurement instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Identify, document, and promptly report defective or nonconforming parts
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
- Follow company safety procedures and established quality standards
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English or Spanish
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as business needs require
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience
- Previous experience building products to specifications or tolerances
- Experience with quality inspection or manufacturing quality processes
- Experience working in a shop, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment

Physical Requirements
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and use of hand and power tools. Candidates must be able to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Schedule :- Full Time
2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11pm - Up to $18.00 Per Hour
Full-Time | Overtime, weekends, and varying shifts may be required based on business needs
Work Environment
This is a hands-on shop/warehouse environment where safety, cleanliness, teamwork, productivity, and quality are essential.
