What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tree Trimmer/Groundsman position at S&S Treemasters, Inc?
S&S Treemaster is seeking 2 individuals to join their team. The ideal candidate would have previous experience or the desire to learn how to trim trees, work safely and run equipment. This is a full-time position that lasts year round when weather permits. Candidates must have a clean driving record, show up for work ON TIME daily, be able to work outside in the heat/cold and work as a team with other employees and pass a drug screen. This position is 40/hrs a week and does require some weekend work and the opportunity for overtime. Pay is weekly.
Duties
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain tree health and appearance.
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access high branches.
- Utilize rigging techniques for the safe removal of large limbs or trees.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to execute tasks effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in various environments.
- Have the ability to follow instruction and perform duties without micromanagement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tree trimming, tree care, or landscape maintenance preferred.
- Familiarity with operating bucket trucks and rigging equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions- we work in the heat and rain.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to maneuver and operate equipment and pull/back trailers.
Candidates can start working immediately. Please do not waste my time or yours if you can not show up for your first day of work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
