What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Executive – Asset-Based Logistics position at S & S Transport, Inc.?
We are seeking a Sales Executive with freight knowledge and a converting book of business. This role focuses on driving new revenue and expanding customer relationships using a platform that removes obstacles and rewards performance. This is an in person position in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

What You’ll Do
- Generate new business across TL, LTL, Temp-Controlled, and Flatbed
- Prospect, close, and grow shipper accounts
- Develop customized pricing and logistics solutions
- Serve as the primary customer contact and manage relationships
- Partner with operations to ensure reliable, on-time service
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and revenue forecast
- Travel for key customer meetings as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 4–5 years of logistics or transportation sales experience
- Experience in 3PL and/or asset-based trucking
- Proven, converting book of business
- Strong understanding of freight and end-to-end logistics
- CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
