Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and document client health status and report changes to supervising staff
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and care plans
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Adhere to individualized care plans and follow all home care protocols and procedures
Requirements:
- Current CNA certification or PCA training/experience preferred
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting is a plus
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in and around Colquitt, GA
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass a background check and meet all state requirements for home care workers
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
