Responsibilities
- Assist skilled plumbers with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution
- Support the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, and valves
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures
- Use pipe threading equipment and other mechanical tools to prepare piping for installation
- Help with remodeling, repairs, and system troubleshooting as needed on-site
- Follow building code regulations and safety standards during all phases of work to ensure compliance and safety
Requirements
- Prior construction experience with a focus on plumbing or related trades preferred
- Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, pipe threading, and pipe installation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in welding, HVAC systems, carpentry, and handyman tasks advantageous
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment safely on construction sites
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation
- Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and building code compliance
- Excellent teamwork skills with a customer service-oriented mindset when interacting with clients or team members
- Field service experience or previous work on construction sites highly desirable
