Position Overview
We are seeking a strong Site Superintendent/Construction Manager to run day-to-day field operations on our luxury custom home builds at Hyco Lake, including projects at The Pointe. This position serves as the daily steward of the build — ensuring quality, schedule, safety, and execution meet the highest luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Construction & Site Management
- Manage all day-to-day on-site construction activities for assigned custom luxury homes
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, budgets, and schedules
- Maintain strict adherence to quality standards expected in luxury construction
- Coordinate sequencing of trades to optimize efficiency and craftsmanship
- Conduct daily site walks to verify workmanship, cleanliness, and safety
Schedule & Documentation
- Utilize our BuilderTrend Construction Software
- Track construction schedules and proactively address delays
- Maintain accurate daily logs, inspection records, and progress photos for the Senior Construction Manager and clients
- Coordinate and attend county inspections; ensure compliance with local codes and building regulations
Trade & Vendor Coordination
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers on site; hold trades accountable to scopes, timelines, and quality expectations
- Resolve on-site conflicts professionally and decisively
- Confirm material deliveries, storage, and installation standards
Quality Control & Final Delivery
- Oversee punch-list creation and completion
- Ensure homes are delivered clean, complete, and ready for ownership
- Participate in final walk-throughs and client handoff
- Communicate professionally with clients, neighbors, and the development team on site
Qualifications & Experience Required
- 5 years of residential construction experience, with custom or high-end homes strongly preferred
- Prior experience running a jobsite as construction manager, site superintendent or lead carpenter/foreman
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and selection sheets
- Working knowledge of NC residential code and inspection processes
- Strong scheduling, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred
- Lakefront/waterfront or sloped-lot construction experience
- Comfortable with jobsite technology (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar; photos, daily logs, scheduling apps)
- OSHA 10/30 certification
