Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscape features
- Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and tree care to keep landscapes healthy and visually appealing
- Maintain irrigation systems and implement watering schedules to promote plant health
- Execute landscape installation projects including hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access and clear pathways
- Assist with general garden maintenance, planting, fertilizing, and pest control as needed
- Support construction or renovation projects related to landscape improvements and tree trimming tasks
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience operating power tools and landscaping equipment
- Strong understanding of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening practices, and tree care procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, hardscape installation, and snow plowing is a plus
