Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, offices, and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization
• Maintain high standards of sanitation by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed
• Provide specialized floor care including carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and buffing to ensure floors look pristine
• Manage janitorial tasks like restocking supplies, emptying trash bins, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is well-maintained
• Deliver excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for yourself and others

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and janitorial procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift
• Basic familiarity with laundry processes and handling various cleaning tools and supplies
• Nice-to-have skills include cooking (for clients requiring light meal prep), hotel or housekeeping management experience, or commercial cleaning expertise
