Industrial Construction Superintendent / Working Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Construction Superintendent who is not only capable of managing projects but is also willing to work alongside the crew when needed. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who leads and teaches by example, maintains high-quality standards, and keeps projects on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily job site operations from start to finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
- Enforce job site safety and quality control standards.
- Communicate with project managers, clients, inspectors, and vendors.
- Perform skilled construction work alongside the crew.
- Troubleshoot field issues and make sound decisions to keep projects moving.
- Maintain job site organization, cleanliness, and productivity.
Qualifications
- 5 years of construction experience with supervisory responsibilities.
- Proven ability to manage crews while remaining actively involved in field work.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
