What are the responsibilities and job description for the Proofreader position at S&S Employment Partners?
We are seeking a Proofreader to act as final quality check for multiple projects.
This is a full-time temporary opportunity where you will earn up to $28/hour based on your experience. You will need to reside in the Des Moines, Iowa, metro area.
Some of your responsibilities as a Proofreader will include:
- Reviewing grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, structure, characterization, formatting, organization of the document and more
- Verifying consistent use of headers, spacing, style guide rules
- Meeting deadlines
- Other duties as assigned
To qualify for the Proofreader position, you must have:
- 2-4 years of experience in proofreading
- BA in English, journalism, or communication
- Experience editing or reviewing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpretive thinking skills
- Strong communication skills
