Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing safe and reliable transportation services, ensuring the well-being of passengers, particularly children. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle various driving situations with professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate a school bus to transport stidents to designated schools.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
- Follow established route and schedule while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, or school administration regarding schedules, delays, or any issues that may arise during transit.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for performing basic maintenance checks on the vehicle.
- Experience as a school bus driver is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students, parents and staff.
- Ability to educate passengers about safety protocols and procedures during transit.
- Experience working with children is highly valued, ensuring a nurturing environment during transportation.

Current CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements preferred. Willing and able to help with training if needed. Experienced school bus drivers earn extra daily pay.
Roughly:
6:15-8:15am and 2:00-4:00pm
Monday - Friday with weekends, holiday, schools breaks and summers off. Unfortunately no insurance is provided due to being contracted with the school corporation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $115.00 - $130.00 per day
Expected hours: 20 per week
