What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliance Repair Technician position at S&S Appliance Parts and Service?

S&S Appliance Parts and Service needs service technicians for Alabama, NW Florida, West Georgia, and Mississippi Gulf Coast. We are the factory certified service provider for Whirlpool and exclusively work on Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchen Aid, Jenn-Air and Amana products. Products repaired include Washers & Dryers, Gas/Electric Stoves, Microwave Ovens, Dishwashers, Refrigerators/Freezers, and other home appliances.
- Provide timely and quality repairs for customers while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet customer time commitments.
- Meet key performance metrics and/or productivity goals as defined by the business.
- Provide repair cost estimates, and recommend whether appliance repair or replacement is a better choice.
- Continuously look for methods to improve business performance and enhance the customer experience.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ability and desire to take ownership of a customer’s dilemma and work with them to a successful resolution.
- 2 years of appliance repair experience preferred.
